6. Sadaharu Aioki
French-style pastries made with traditional Japanese ingredients is what Chef Sadaharu Aioki's patisserie is most famous for. We sampled their best seller, the green tea opera cake, as well as the sesame macaron, wasabi macaron, and their signature chocolate covered green tea macaron called chocoron. Please give this a patisserie a visit when visiting Paris! It's definitely well worth a try!

7. Pierre Marcolini
The Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini first established his chocolaterie in Belgium and then opened shop in Paris in 2003. He is most famous for his truffles and their very exotic flavors that will definitely give you a scent and taste tour around the world. He now has at least 4 shops around Paris.

8. L'eclair De Genie
This patisserie by Chef Christophe Adam is my most favorite to date. If pastries can go on a catwalk and show off, his eclairs would probably win! Their the most beautiful, delicious and most unique eclairs I have seen to date! I fell in love with this shop even before I stepped foot inside. It was our last day in Paris when we visited and it was after a 3 week long vacation of non-stop walking, but I told myself that If I wasn't able to go to this shop I would really regret it.
Must try are the dark chocolate raspberry, caramel beurre sale, passion framboise, vanilla noix de pecan, and pistache l'orange elcairs. The choux pastry was light and flavorful and oozing with a velvety smooth creamy filling and it was colorfully glazed and perfectly decorated. True enough, when I first took a bite of the pastry, my whole outlook on eclairs changed and I finally understood why people go gaga over these beauties. You will too I guarantee!

9. Des Gateaux et Du Pain
I luckily stumbled upon this pastry shop in Paris while looking for Las Patisserie des Reves. Their bread and vienoisserie had the perfect crumb and color. It's a boulangerie and a patisserie all rolled into one and if you are in the neighbourhood, you can't pass this up for a grab and go breakfast or lunch bread pick up!

10. Maison Berthillon
If you are planning to go on a stroll on a warm sunny day, this is the perfect time to visit Maison Berthillon. They're practically an institution when it comes to making decadent sorbets and ice creams. They've been around for almost half a century and people around the globe flock here to taste their specialties which are made from all natural products. No preservatives!

11. Patrick Roger
Pralines and truffles are what Chef Patrick Roger's chocolaterie is all about. Chef Patrick Roger is a Master French chocolatier and his truffle flavors are exquisite and the combinations are very unusual. The storefront windows are filled with his extraordinary and very impressive chocolate sculptures. When we visited, I remember it was right before Easter, there was a display of a hen house with a a hen laying eggs, a super cute frog, and many other farm animals all sculpted in chocolate, . Some truffle flavors i recommend are the Zanzibar (thyme and lemon), Ceylan (aromatic flavours from southeast India), Valparaiso (flavors of the Pacific lime), Sauvage (verbena and yuzu), and Noisette (hazelnut praline).

12. Fauchon and Le Cafe Fauchon
Fauchon is a gift shop, delicatessen, patisserie, and a cafe rolled into one. They sell all things sweet like cookies, pate de fruit, truffles, eclairs, cakes, and tarts plus they also sell items like jams and jellies, teas, pates, and even foie gras. They have a section for quick bites like canapes and sandwiches, but they also have a full service restaurant/cafe that is decorated very elegantly with pink and silver hue curtains, chairs, and tables. I totally recommend this place if you want to have a not too formal, but nice elegant lunch. They serve excellent food and service is great too.
Their desserts tasted pretty amazing. Definitely try their sea salt caramel eclairs and their tarte au chocolat et praline. Once you do, you'll probably forget your name for a second or two. Yes, they're that delicious! I thought their pink and black packaging was very chic and elegant, perfect for gift giving!
