Hotel Clasico is a charmer! This boutique hotel is located at the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood, typically very calm during the day but becomes very lively as soon as night-time falls. An abundant number of local restaurants, cool bars, and hip lounges and clubs dot this quarter. It is an ideal location to stay at when visiting Buenos Aires if you want to soak in that vibrant PorteΓ±o social nightlife while also having easy access to the city’s infamous sights.

We chose to stay in a HabitaciΓ³n Queen room. It had a wonderful mixture of vintage and modern-day character to it. Though the room was a bit on the smaller size, the very chic interiors β€” charming chandelier, stylish photo frames, classy hardwood floors, and a cheerful petit French terrace with views of the charismatic Palermo neighborhoodβ€”surely made up for it.

The in-house restaurant, MΓΆoi, easily became a favorite of ours too. We had most of our breakfasts there during out stay. Food was good, unpretentious, and nicely presented. But I guess it was really the vibe that made us love it. The interiors of the restaurant is very hip and modern, with colorful chairs and showstopper lamps decorating the ceiling. Their patio is delightfully adorned with a wall garden and the bright and cozy atmosphere makes for a perfect place to dine al fresco.

The staff of the hotel were wonderful and truly helpful, especially in giving us directions and recommendations of areas to visit around the city. Although the hotel was a good 15-minute walk to the nearest train station, we didn’t mind this because it was a safe neighborhood to walk in both during the day and night. What we loved about it though was that the moment we stepped out of its doors, there’s countless restaurants awaiting to be discovered. Just for the location, we would definitely stay at this place again in a heartbeat.
